I think I good name would be "Fun Loving Giraffes...Sweet Flying Angels". Reminds me of Allie and Taylor and why Heros For Children was started.

Hmmm...wish I was more witty...I'll have to brain storm with the hubby a bit.:)

How about Abundant Hearts? It marks why you started Heros for Children...because of your abundant hearts and the abundant hearts of others who had given to you. Also, reading your precious little ones stories and seeing their smiles even in the toughest of times made me think that they had hearts abundant with love to be able to go through so much and still be such a light.

I was blog hopping and ended up here :) im not good at coming up with stuff but what came to me was "Living life through our hearts". I followed Julian Avery's updates from Mimi and now all the others shes talked about (ALOT :( ) what i notice with all the kids was they innocently lived there life, no matter how hard, through their hearts and every adult should do the same and give unconditionally like the children do.

How about "INTERTWINE" since the lives of those that need help, and the lives of those that help intertwine You could then use a logo of intertwining vines etc.

Hope Within - I think that says it all :)

How about this, "Heroes Among Us - Children, Parents, You"

How bout "Little Things Matter", because so many of these kids just want what "normal" kids would take for granted, and HFC helps to make that happen?

Also because people may think they have to make a grand gesture to help, but truly, every bit does. Little things matter.

Keep it up ladies, you're amazing!

Hmmm. How about "Because Little Things Matter", because so many of these kids just want what "normal" kids and families may take for granted everyday, and HFC makes it possible for them to have them.

Of course, it's also a play on little people, and how much they matter. Keep it up girls, you're awesome!

Heroes...Touching Hearts and Changing Lives

Touching hearts - the volunteers/supporters
Changing lives - the families/kids

That seems to be what this blog is about, in a nut shell. That is what Heroes does, touches hearts to change lives. We've all been touched.

You already have the name -- "Everyday Wishes"

As a nurse who worked with seriously ill children for years, it's their everyday wishes that count most.

This is a hard one, I already love the name you have and everyone has come up so many great ones! How about...

"Dream Wishes"
"Wishing on a Dream"
"Following a Rainbow"
"Every Cloud has a Silver Lining"
"Wish Upon a Hero"
"Wishing on a Rainbow"
"Following a Dream"
"There is a Pot of Gold at the End of Every Rainbow"

I was going to leave a comment with my idea for the new blog name, but I think Joan's is the best.

Everyday Wishes is spot on.

I really like Kristina's idea above - but my suggestion is "Heroes' Heartbeat" - because the blog is made up of the stories and moments that are at the heart of your organisation :-)

I agree that Everyday Wishes really is the essence of what you do and the stories that you convey. You support the everyday needs and the everyday special moments for so many families.

But if I had to brainstorm a little...

Granting everyday wishes!

Butterfly kisses and moonbeam wishes

A little help goes a long way...

Pickle juice (from my 4 yr old)

Everyday Wishes - The journey

I like "Everyday Heroes" and the tagline "touching hearts and changing lives."

This seems to be the essence of the org. Touching people's heart to get involved and changing the lives of the children and families. It's the "Everyday Heroes" who who are behind the scenes... the volunteers, the donors, the office staff who make the difference without any fanfare.

"Heroes On Earth"

"Helping Hands"

"Happy Hands"

"No Boundaries"

"Love Remains"

How about "Heroes for Heroes"/

"Like Little Children"
(possible tagline: Hoping, Believing, and Cherishing Moments.)

I think those who get involved in something like this know what it means to believe the way children do - with their whole hearts, simply, and expecting nothing in return. Plus, kids are so daily. More than anyone else, they notice and appreciate small things.

I'm, of course, referencing Matthew 18:3 for that one.

I also thought of:

"Heroes Cherish Moments" (if you want "Hero" in the name.)

Is there a new name??

I think it would be awesome if the winner were to donate the prize to a blogging mama who's child is fighting or has fought Childhood Cancer.
